Warranty

Warranty Claim

  • KRAKEN provides up to 1 year of service warranty on selected products such as mouse, keyboard, headphones, and other items that come with warranty support. All eligible products also include a 7-day replacement warranty.

  • If a product is found damaged at the time of delivery, KRAKEN will provide a full refund or replace it with a new product.

  • If the product is damaged due to customer responsibility after delivery, it will not be eligible for any warranty.

  • If the product is modified or altered in any way, the warranty will be void.

  • Any physical damage after purchase will make the product ineligible for warranty claims.

Warranty Policy

  • KRAKEN follows warranty policies based on manufacturer guidelines, including international, local, and industry standards.

  • A warranty is a service agreement between the manufacturer/importer and the customer, where the responsibility of repair or replacement is provided. KRAKEN assists customers throughout the warranty process and acts as a support partner with the manufacturer.

  • Most warranty services are completed within 15 working days, although in some cases, products may be replaced immediately depending on the issue.

  • Customers are requested to collect warranty-claimed products directly after inspection. If the customer chooses courier delivery, KRAKEN will not be responsible if the issue is not fully resolved, and additional courier charges may apply for further service.

  • Warranty is only applicable to products that come with an official brand warranty.

  • Laptop warranty may vary from 1 to 3 years depending on brand and model, while accessories like batteries and adapters usually have up to 1 year warranty.

  • For warranty claims, issues are generally resolved through repair, and if necessary, parts may be replaced, or the product may be exchanged.

  • If the same model is not available, KRAKEN may provide a similar product of equal value from available stock.

  • If repair is not possible and no similar product is available, replacement may be done with a price adjustment based on depreciation.

  • If no replacement option is possible, a partial refund may be provided based on product condition and usage.

  • KRAKEN is not responsible for any data loss or software issues during product use or warranty service. Data backup and software reinstallation are the customer’s responsibility.

  • Warranty service time may vary. It can take from 5–7 working days up to 15–20 days or more, especially if parts need to be imported.

  • In most cases, defective parts are replaced instead of repairing the entire product.

  • Any customized operating system or setup provided during purchase is not covered under warranty.

  • “Lifetime warranty” means the duration the product remains available in the market. Once a product reaches End of Life (EOL), it will no longer be covered under warranty.

  • For monitoring warranty claims related to dead pixels, at least 3 or more visible dead pixels are required.

  • If warranty service requires courier delivery, both sending and receiving courier charges must be paid by the customer.

  • For any warranty claim, customers must provide the product with its original box and all included accessories.

Warranty Exclusions

Warranty will not apply, or may be rejected, in the following cases:

  • If the product is damaged due to misuse, such as water damage, breakage, burning, impact, or deep scratches, it will not be covered under warranty.

  • If the product’s serial number or serial sticker is removed, damaged, or unreadable, the warranty will be void.

  • If there is fungus, rust, or serious physical damage on components like the motherboard, graphics card, or RAM, the warranty will not apply.

  • For motherboards and processors, any broken, bent, or damaged pins will void the warranty.

  • KRAKEN does not set any password or security code on laptops, desktops, or other devices. Therefore, any BIOS password-related issue is the customer’s responsibility and is not covered under warranty.

  • For Apple MacBook devices, removing or altering the built-in operating system will void the warranty.

  • Printer parts such as cartridges, toner, print head, roller, drum, maintenance box, and similar consumables are not covered under warranty.

  • Using non-approved ink or toner cartridges may void the printer warranty.

  • For combo products (such as keyboard and mouse sold together), the full set must be returned for warranty claims. Partial claims will not be accepted.

  • Power adapters of devices like printers, scanners, routers, switches, access points, and TV cards are not covered under warranty.

  • If a product remains uncollected from the service center for more than 30 days after warranty service is completed, KRAKEN will not be responsible for it.

  • If the warranty receipt is lost, the customer must provide proof of purchase (invoice) to claim the product.

  • If a product price is shown incorrectly on the website due to a technical error and does not match the actual market price, KRAKEN reserves the right to cancel the order at any time, with or without prior notice.
